Yes, probably. But I don't think it Makes a difference, I've seen it listed as lots of different things actually like Murder by the Box, Murder on the Set and Murder by TV but I think its actual title is Murder by Televison.
Still, when I searched it at the USCO nothing showed up, no registrations.

The Only film I can find is "Trapped by Television" from 1936 with Lyle Talbot, which is apparentely quite similar to Murder by Television, released the previous year.
I'll upload it anyway.

Maybe "Murder" was taken down. I was sure I saw it here at one point. But by all means give "Trapped" a look, you might like that one too.
